SOS Azulejo Award

06 May 2021

The project "Azulejar Heritage of the Lisbon Museum", carried out between the months of November 2018 and June 2019, was awarded with the SOS Azulejo Prize, in the category "Conservation and Restoration Intervention Award".

With the restoration of this important set, it has been available since 2019 to the public and the scientific community, an important historical document about the city of Lisbon, where scenes and places are depicted referring to a period before the earthquake of 1755.

Água de Cal Conservation and Restoration leaves a special thanks to the City Museum, for the trust placed over the last few years, to the technicians involved in the work, and would like to expresses the pride it feels for having contributed to the safeguarding and valorization of the cultural heritage of the city of Lisbon.
